车辆外观
19款奔驰GLS450整体设计很端正甚至忠厚和传统，整体一副极具攻击性的前脸，前脸锐利得车头基于由圆润的弧线切出了霸气的引擎盖，LED日间行车灯配上双镀铬装饰条，充满科技感，换装可全新的保险杠和大灯。前进气饹馇更加垂直，换装全新保险杠和大灯，发动机盖上增添了两条充满力量的隆起线条。
车辆内饰
19款奔驰GLS450的内饰进行了新的设计，但也对部分GL的经典设计进行传承。如空调的出风口，多媒体操作面板，空调操作区等处都在现款GL的基础上进行了小幅度优化，精髓得以保留。GLS450硕大的身材带来享受般的充裕乘坐空间，车内还配备了多项高科技装备和娱乐设施。有全新的三辐式多功能方向盘、内饰氛围灯以及全新的触控人机交互系统。
车辆空间
19款奔驰GLS450的，全尺寸七座布局能保证最大乘坐空间，采用2+3+2的座椅排布方式，座椅变化灵活，行李厢空间可以在最小680L至最大2300L之间自由组合。如果还不够用，可以完全把第二、三排座位完全折叠，而且操作轻松简单。
车辆性能
19款奔驰GLS450均沿用老款GL的动力单元，不过全新自动变速器的投入使用，使新车在动力和燃油经济性方面的表现非常突出。中规版的GLS400马力是：333匹马力，而全新美规版奔驰GLS450的马力达到了362匹;整个加速过程，中规的为0-100加速时间0-100Km/h-7.0S，而美规的为：0-100加速时间0-100Km/h-6.6S，美规的峰值扭矩为：500N·m，中规的峰值扭矩为：480(N·m)。同等条件下，美规的GLS450比中规的GLS400动力稍强。
