丰田埃尔法的加价传说想必大家都有所耳闻，动辄30万的加价门槛让老百姓“只可远观”。尽管民间各种吐槽声不绝于耳，但丝毫不影响土豪们买得乐此不彼，那么大家想过没有，到底埃尔法凭什么会在国内出现疯狂加价的情况呢？
1、供不应求
在某次公开发言中，丰田章男说过埃尔法没有向国内经销商加价。言外之意就表明是经销商行为，和丰田无关。然而4S店销售表示埃尔法这款车在国内的配额只有几台而已，别说试驾车，展车，统统没有。这也造就了一车难求的局面。一家店想要一辆埃尔法，必须要搭配20-30台不好卖的车型，这导致4S店的成本急剧升高，只能用加价来弥补不畅销车型降价促销成本。
2、明星效应
第二个原因就是明星效应，香港明星几乎人手一辆埃尔法，这些明星车主自然就成为了埃尔法的天然代言人。内地区跟风的消费者见状，肯定也会觉得选择埃尔法作为商务座驾非常有面子。其高端奢华的商务保姆车形象就立起来了。至于为什么香港明星喜欢这款车，其实很简单，除了豪华和香港人喜欢日系以外，最关键的是在大型MPV里，埃尔法车型最窄，比较适合香港狭小的街道。
3、同级别无对手
埃尔法作为进口高端7座MPV，其小众的定位就导致了竞争对手很少，国内市场能和它竞争的只有奔驰唯雅诺和GMC了。以上三点基本就是导致国内市场埃尔法持续加价的主要原因，等到上海车展亮相的威尔法和雷克萨斯LM上市之后，估计会出现丰田“加价一家亲”的尴尬景象。
